<Futurology, Soothsaying, Fortunetelling, and the Biblical Prophecy> (19)

Recently I always receive many emails, articles, sermons, and lectures. And most of them share a very heavy topic: “The world is getting worse than before.” Too many natural disasters so frequently happened, plus more wars and fighting occur among nations and peoples. Some people describe that the natural disasters show us the earth is expressing her anger and frustration toward human beings. Actually the earth is not mad but sick due to the abusive and deprives usages of the earth by human beings. The wars and fighting are because of religious hatred, nationalism, racism. When people have trouble against each other, they sit and talk first, but if it fails, people fight and meet at the battle field. The result is making the world worse and worse.

We who live in the USA seem better than other places in the world. Yet we all know that even in America in terms of richness, affluence, freedom, and democracy is also getting worse and worse. For a very simple example, Students and teachers at public schools in New York State are not permitted to talk or speak about “God” publicly. Is it just like in an atheistic country?

Each time when I meditate about the world situation, in my deep spirit I can sense that it is getting closer and closer to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Namely, the existing world is almost reaching to its end-time. From the Scripture to see the Old Testament prophecies and Jesus’ teachings, especially from 3 prophetic books – Daniel, Zechariah, Revelation to review nowadays world, and see these natural phenomena: earthquake, floods, tornados, droughts, and unpredictable changes of weathers. Then to see the world human sinful deeds – adulteries, greediness, murders, deceptions, tricks, treacherousness, immoral actions, and all kinds of evil, anyone who has a little spirit will sense that God will exercise His judgment over the entire world. It is worse than Sodom and Gomorrah now.

If one’s spiritual eyes open, one may see that in “the spiritual realm” two types of angels: the angels of the light and the angels of the darkness, both are very busy doing their assigned works. What is the spiritual realm? This is my understanding: When God created the entire universe, He divides it into three realms: the first heaven – the earthly physical world which includes the celestial galaxies that we humans can see with our physical eyes; the second heaven – the spiritual realm where is the working place of angels. The activities of the good and bad angles will directly affect the physical human world; then, the third one is called, “the third heaven” where is the heaven that we are longing for after departing from this world. St. Paul describes that he once was caught to that place which is so beautiful and wonderful (2 Cor. 12: 2.)

In the spiritual realm, so far, Satan and its teammates work very hard, “because they know that their time is short” (Rev. 12:12b) they try all possible means to destroy the world, and pollute human hearts. They hope to grasp more human souls to the hell with them. Therefore, the world will be getting worse and worse. However, praise the Lord! Although Satan works so heard; by the grace of God, our Lord dear Holy Spirit and His angels are also working even harder. They keep doing wonderful works to touch people, to change people’s lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the world is getting closer to its ending time; God is still in charge of everything. I believe that more and more revivals will occur before the second coming of Christ.

Now my final question is: When you know what is going on in this world, what is the action will you take? My suggestion is – get involved in the actions of the Holy Spirit and His angels – share the gospel of Jesus Christ with more people, also, keep yourself more holy and obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ, so that through you more people will be blessed. Pray and pray more fervently please!
