<Futurology, Soothsaying, Fortunetelling, and the Biblical Prophecy> (20)

(Please Pray for the United States of America)

Today is the birthday of the United States of America. The Declaration of Independence for America from the British Empire was made by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. Actually, less than one year earlier (1775) the residents in Massachusetts already started fighting against the British government’s oppression. But after the Declaration was made, the war officially started. General George Washington, a son of a French Huguenot descendent, a Reformed Christian, was appointed as the General Commander of the Revolutionary Army. Unfortunately, at the beginning, he was always defeated due to many poor factors. But by God’s grace, because of his perseverance and Christian belief in Jesus Christ, he finally won the first battle at Princeton, NJ. Later on because of the help of the French Army, after 8 years of long fighting in wars, he totally defeated the British Army in 1783, and won the Independence for the United States of America.

The first 13 states on the East Cost formed “the United States of America,” this is an independent, democratic, and republic nation. But the way of democracy was not easy, at the beginning, the country needed to deal with the issues of advancing to the West, the issues of native Indians, then, the issues of racism – Black and White conflicts, then, the Civil War (1861-1865.) Although the nation faced many challenges and difficulties in the past, the USA is still growing and moving forward well. Why? It is because the strong faith in Jesus Christ and the leadership of the Christian churches which lead the people in prayers, in worshipping the Almighty God.

When the beginning of the formation of this nation, the founding fathers did not like the British governmental system and the interference of the royal power to the church’s ministries. Therefore, they set up a very good law – the State and the Church should be separated. The government – both States and the Federal has not right to interfere the business of the church. Originally it was a good law to prevent the historical mistakes made by the European countries. But unfortunately, now, such a good law has been distorted and raped by the atheists, liberalists, and even the devil. Nowadays, in the governmental organizations – especially in public schools, people are not permitted to speak of God, or even carry a Bible. It seems that the name of God and the mentions of Christian faith and the Bible become taboos in the governmental organizations. How pity it is!

More weirdly, now, Muslims and Buddhists or other religious groups may bring their religious books and organize their social groups at schools. They will get support, but only Christianity is forbidden. It is very strange!

Such kind of weird liberalism actually started in Europe, and now it has destroyed the spirit of the Christian faith in the Europe. One can see the chaos happen so frequently in the European countries. Now the movement of this liberalism is passing down to the American continent. One can predict the same result will happen – the USA becomes weakened:

The USA was used to be strong, powerful, and generous in terms of supporting the third world countries financially, politically, and humanitarianly. Especially after the churches in the United Kingdom and other European countries fell to support and send missionaries, the churches in the USA took over the big burden to do the mission works. But, now, it only takes a few years of devil’s work, the USA is corrupting in finance and other aspects. Now the USA Government owes tremendous debts to many countries which is too huge and beyond our imagination. China is the first debtor country that lends trillions of trillions of dollars to the USA. Not only that, many liberalistic States, such as the State of California is about to proclaim “bankruptcy,” the State of New York is likewise. How terrible it is!

Many European nations traditionally are Christian countries, but since they deserted this Christian faith, God deserted them too. Many nations are always in disturbance. The Muslims become more ambitious to swallow up the entire Europe. It is because of “their successfulness” in Europe, the Muslims use the same way to move into the USA. They use both soft and hard ways to move into the USA: by immigration (soft way) and terrorism (hard way.) We need to pray and bless those Muslims that when they live in this country may sense the freedom and the love of Christ so that their lives may change.

Today, Jesus Christ allows us, many Asians, also immigrate into this country, especially Korean and Chinese. Does it also show the intention and will of our Lord Jesus Christ – that we may receive the good faith in Christ in this country, and our lives may be transformed, so that we may pray for the USA, support the truth, proclaim the truth of the gospel. Hopefully in the near future that we may help a great nation in the East (China) and another great nation in the West (the USA) to become two visible arms of God to bless the entire world and wait for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ!
